My dad's a journeyman for an electric company here in MI and it makes me happy when people express gratitude for the job he does.

indeed, we take for granted people who keep our lives running smoothly, the utility workers, the garbage man, the road workers. People who work for the power companies risk death to do their jobs. Not to mention the cold and other harsh conditions they must work in. Just think how it would be if the garbage men never came.Road workers here in Arizona stand on Hot pavement when it is 115 degrees outside. All hard jobs, that make our life easier. I am thankful for each and everyone of them.
